Bacon Pecan Sandwich Bread
Ingredients 6 slices bacon 1 chopped pecans, toasted 1 sharp Cheddar cheese, grated 1 teaspoon onion, grated 1/2 mayonnaise 1/2 teaspoon salt Directions Cook bacon until crisp; drain and crumble. Combine with other ingredients. Refrigerate at least 1 hour to blend flavors. Good on pumpernickel bread. Makes about 2 1/2 cups.

Ingredients: 2 apples 3 cups fresh raw broccoli, cut up 1/4 cup chopped walnuts 1 tablespoon chopped red onion 1/3 cup raisins 1/2 cup vanilla low-fat yogurt Directions: Core and chop apples. Mix all ingredients together. Serve on a bed of lettuce.
