Sugar Nuts

    Ingredients:

    • 2 egg whites
    • pinch of salt
    • 1 cup brown sugar
    • 4 Tbsp. melted butter
    • 1 lb. pecans or walnuts

    Directions:

    1. Beat egg whites, add salt and beat until stiff.
    2. Stir in brown sugar and butter. Mix in the nuts.
    3. Place on cookie sheet and bake at 250° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool and store in airtight container.
