Pumpkin Patch Caramel Corn

    Ingredients:

    • 1/2 cup unsalted butter 1 cup peanuts, roasted (no skins or salt)
    • 1 cup brown sugar 1 cup candy corn mix
    • 1/4 cup light corn syrup 2 cups miniature pretzels
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
    • 12 cups popped popcorn

    Directions:

    1. In a hot air popper, pop popcorn until you have 12 cups.
    2. In a microwave safe bowl- heat margarine, brown sugar, corn syrup and salt for
    3. 2 minutes on high power.
    4. Stir.
    5. Heat 2 more minutes on HIGH power.
    6. Add baking soda and vanilla- Stir
    7. Spray a paper bag with PAM.
    8. Put popcorn and caramel syrup into bag.
    9. Fold top down to close and shake well.
    10. Put bag in microwave for 1 minute on HIGH power.
    11. Shake vigorously.
    12. Microwave again for 30 seconds on HIGH power.
    13. Add peanuts, candy corn and pretzels.
    14. Shake to mix.
    15. Spread on a cookie sheet to cool.
    16. Store in air tight container.

    Makes about 16- 8 oz. servings
