    Baked Acorn Squash

    Ingredients:

    • 2 acorn squash
    • 2/3 cup cracker crumbs
    • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
    • 1/2 cups butter, melted
    • 1/4 cup brown sugar
    • 1/2 tsp. salt
    • 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg or pumpkin pie spice
    • 1/4 cup orange juice

    Directions:

    1. Cut squash in half. Remove seeds.
    2. Combine remaining ingredients and spoon into squash halves. Place squash in slow cooker.
    3. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours until tender.
