Taco Salad

    Ingredients:

    • 1 lb. ground beef
    • 1 pkg. taco seasoning
    • 2 Tbsp. water
    • 1 head lettuce
    • 1 onion, chopped
    • 1 tomato, chopped
    • 1 green pepper, chopped
    • Ripe olives
    • 1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
    • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

    Ingredients for Dressing:

    • 1 cup oil
    • 3/4 cup sugar
    • 1/3 cup ketchup
    • 1/4 cup vinegar
    • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    • 1 small finely chopped onion
    • Pinch of salt

    Directions:

    1. Brown ground beef, drain.
    2. Add taco seasoning and water.
    3. Cook 5 minutes; cool completely.
    4. Mix together all vegetables.
    5. Arrange salad on plate, top with ground beef and dressing.

    Directions for Dressing:

    1. Place all ingredients in a blender container; blend until combined.
