Steak Burgers

    Ingredients

    • 2 lbs. ground lean chuck, round or sirloin tip
    • 3 tablespoons onion, finely chopped
    • 2 teaspoons salt
    • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
    • onion butter basting sauce*

    Directions

    Combine first 4 ingredients; mix well. Shape into 6 to 8 patties 3/4-inch thick. Refrigerate until ready to cook. Arrange patties on cooking grill. Cook until brown on underside. Turn and cook to doneness desired. Serve on toasted hamburger buns or bread.
    *Onion Butter Basting Sauce: Combine 1 cup melted butter or margarine, 1 envelope (1 3/8 ozs.) dry onion soup mix and 2 teaspoons minced parsley.
