Sour Cream Chocolate Cookies

    Ingredients:

    • 1/2 cup butter, softened
    • 3/4 cup sugar
    • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
    • 1 egg
    • 1/2 cup sour cream
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
    • 1/2 cup baking cocoa
    • 1 teaspoon baking powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1 cup (6 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
    • 1/2 cup vanilla or white chips

    Directions:

    1. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
    2. Beat in egg, sour cream and vanilla.
    3. Combine dry ingredients; gradually add to the creamed mixture.
    4. Stir in chips.
    5. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto greased baking sheets.
    6. Bake at 350° for 12-15 minutes or until set.
    7. Cool for 2 minutes before removing to wire racks to cool completely.
    8. Yield: about 3 dozen.
