Peanut Butter Fudge

    Ingredients:

    • 1 cup peanut butter
    • 1 cup milk
    • 2 cups granulated sugar
    • A pinch of salt
    • Half a stick butter
    • 1 tsp vanilla
    • A saucepan
    • A buttered 9×9 pan

    Directions:

    1. Pour milk into a saucepan, then add sugar, butter and a pinch of salt. Mix for a minute, then heat to a boil while stirring vigorously.
    2. After about 5 minutes, take a small sample and see if it forms a soft ball in cold water: if it does remove from heat, then add peanut butter and vanilla.
Beat until the contents are creamy and pour into the buttered pan. Cool in fridge.
    3. A “chocolate” variation of this recipe can be made by adding two tablespoons of cocoa before boiling!
