    Fresh Salsa

    Ingredients:

    • 4 cups chopped tomatoes
    • 1 jalapeño, ribs and seeds removed
    • 1-2 limes, juiced
    • 1 small white onion, cut into chunks
    • 1 cup fresh cilantro
    • 4 oz. can diced green chilies, drained
    • 3 cloves fresh garlic
    • 2 tsp. sugar
    • 1½ tsp. cumin powder
    • ½ tsp. each salt, oregano and chili powder

    Directions:

    1. Pulse ingredients together in a food processor or blender until you reach desired consistency. Adjust seasonings to taste.
    2. Allow the salsa to sit for 30 minutes before serving for best taste.
