    Egg Custard Pie

    Ingredients:

    • 9-inch unbaked pie crust
    • 1 cup white sugar
    • 1 cup milk
    • ¼ cup butter, melted
    • 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
    • ½ tsp. ground nutmeg
    • 3 large eggs

    Directions:

    1. Preheat oven to 400 F.
    2. Bake pie crust in the preheated oven until partially baked, about 5 minutes. Set aside.
    3. Adjust oven temperature to 325 F.
    4. Combine sugar, milk, melted butter, flour, vanilla and nutmeg in a large bowl; mix well. Beat in eggs until well blended.
    5. Pour filling into partially baked pie shell.
    6. Bake in preheated oven until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean, 45 to 55 minutes. Do not overbake.
