Chocolate Chip Cookie Pizza

    Ingredients:

    • 1 tube (16 1/2 ounces) refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
    • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
    • 1/3 cup sugar 2 cups cold half-and-half cream
    • 1 package (3.9 ounces) instant chocolate pudding mix
    • 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
    • Optional toppings: Sliced strawberries, melted peanut butter, cut up cherries, chocolate syrup, caramel syrup, whipped topping.

    Directions:

    1. Press cookie dough onto an ungreased 12-inch pizza pan.
    2. Bake at 350° for 15-20 minutes or until deep golden brown.
    3. Cool for 5 minutes; gently run a flexible metal spatula under crust to loosen.
    4. Cool completely.
    5. In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until blended.
    6. Spread over crust.
    7. In a large bowl, whisk cream and pudding mix for 2 minutes.
    8. Let stand for 2 minutes or until soft-set.
    9. Spread over cream cheese mixture; sprinkle with nuts.
    10. Refrigerate until serving. Just before serving top with any desired toppings.
    11. Yield: 14-16 slices.
