    Buckeye Bars

    Ingredients:

    • 2½ cups powdered sugar
    • 2 cups creamy peanut butter
    • ½ cup melted butter
    • ½ cup brown sugar
    • ½ tsp. vanilla extract
    • 12 oz. bag chocolate chips

    Directions:

    1. Grease a 9-by-13-inch pan.
    2. Mix powdered sugar, peanut butter, butter, brown sugar and vanilla together in a bowl. Press peanut butter mixture into the prepared pan.
    3. Melt chocolate chips in the top of a double boiler over simmering water, stirring frequently and scraping down the sides with a rubber spatula to avoid scorching.
    4. Pour melted chocolate slowly over the peanut butter layer.
    5. Let buckeye bars cool completely before cutting into squares.
