Basic Rotiserie Sauce

    Ingredients

    • 1/2 vegetable oil
    • 1/2 lemon juice or wine vinegar
    • 1 large clove garlic, minced fine
    • 2 tablespoons onion, minced
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

    Directions

    Shake all ingredients together in screw-top jar. Refrigerate overnight. Shake again before using. Brush on spit-roasted or grilled turkey and small game birds. Makes about 1 cup.
