Bag ‘n Season® Meat Loaf

    Ingredients:

    • 1 package McCormick® Bag ‘n Season® Meat Loaf
    • 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
    • 1 egg, lightly beaten
    • 1/2 cup milk
    • 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs Substitutions
    • 1 1/3 cups cut-up fresh potatoes, (about 1-inch pieces)
    • 1 1/3 cups cut-up fresh onions, (about 1-inch pieces)
    • 1 1/3 cups cut-up fresh bell peppers, (about 1-inch pieces)

    Directions:

    1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
    2. Arrange opened Cooking Bag in 13×9-inch baking pan or dish.
    3. Mix beef, Seasoning Mix, egg, milk and bread crumbs in large bowl until well blended.
    4. Shape meat mixture into 8×4-inch loaf.
    5. Place in bag.
    6. Add vegetables.
    7. Close bag loosely with nylon tie.
    8. Cut 4 small holes in top of bag to allow steam to escape.
    9. Bake in lower half of oven 1 hour.
    10. Remove from oven.
    11. Let stand 5 minutes.
    12. Cut open bag.
    13. Slice meat loaf and serve with vegetables.
    14. If desired, serve with prepared McCormick® Brown Gravy or Mushroom Gravy.
    15. Serves: 8
