    Asparagus Side Dish

    Ingredients:

    • 4 cups asparagus pieces
    • 1/2 cup sour cream
    • salt to taste
    • processed cheese slices
    • snack crackers, crushed

    Directions:

    1. Cook asparagus to desired doneness (I prefer barely tender); drain. Stir in sour cream and salt. Put in a 1-1/2 qt. greased casserole dish. Top with cheese slices, then cracker crumbs.
    2. Bake, uncovered at 375°F until heated through, about 20-30 minutes. If prepared ahead of time and chilled, allow longer baking time.
