    Apple Butter

    Ingredients:

    • 20 McIntosh apples
    • 1½ cups water
    • 3¾ cup sugar
    • 2 tsp. cinnamon
    • 1 tsp. cloves

    Directions:

    1. Peel and core apples. Cook in slow cooker with water for 6 hours on high. When apples turn to sauce,
    2. Add the 3 remaining ingredients.
    3. Cook on high for an additional 5 hours.
    4. Reduce heat to low and cook for another 8-10 hours.
    5. Cool and use immediately or refrigerate.
