    Cranberry Drops
    Yield: Makes 5 dozen.

    Ingredients:

    • 1/2 cup butter
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
    • 1/4 cup milk
    • 2 Tbsp. orange juice
    • 1 egg, beaten
    • 3 cups all-purpose flour
    • 1 tsp. baking powder
    • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
    • 1/2 tsp. salt
    • 2 1/2 cups fresh cranberries, coarsely chopped
    • 1 cup chopped nuts

    Directions:

    1. In a large bowl, blend butter and sugars. Beat in milk, orange juice and egg; set aside.
    2. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
    3. Add flour mixture to butter mixture; blend well. Stir in cranberries and nuts.
    4. Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto parchment paper-lined baking sheets.
    5. Bake at 375°F for 10-15 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
