Bacon Cheese Breakfast Cake

    Ingredients

    • 1 9-inch round cake
    • 2 s buttermilk baking mix
    • 2 tablespoons sugar
    • 2/3 milk
    • 1 egg
    • 1 (4 ozs.) shredded Cheddar cheese
    • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

    Directions

    Preheat oven to 400°. Combine baking mix and sugar. Stir in milk, egg and half the cheese until well blended. Spread mixture in buttered 9-inch round cake pan. Bake 25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and sprinkle with remaining cheese and bacon. Return to oven until cheese is melted, about 3 minutes. Serve warm.
