Maple French Toast

    Ingredients:

    • 6-9 slices French Bread
    • 3-oz. softened cream cheese
    • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    • 1/4 cup oleo or butter
    • 1 cup milk
    • 1/3 cup maple syrup
    • 3 eggs
    • 1 Tbsp. sugar
    • 1-1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    • 1 tsp. vanilla
    • maple syrup

    Directions:

    1. Heat oven to 400°.
    2. Spread cream cheese on both sides of bread and place in a 13×9 inch pan.
    3. Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon evenly overbred slices.
    4. In a medium bowl, whisk all remaining ingredients until well mixed. Pour over bread.
    5. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until puffy and set. Serve immediately with maple syrup.
